Boadicea the Victorious launched in Harrods’ famous Black Hall Perfumery in 2008 and is now located in the Salon de Parfum on the sixth floor, in its own room amid the crystal chandeliers and marble floors.
It is a perfect interpretation of the Harrods experience, with a rush of cardamom and juicy red fruits as Majestic opens, mixed with the pungent resins of labdanum, fizzing and sharpened with lemon. Saffron, clove and cinnamon smell like spiced earth. Allied with a rich leather aspect the mix is perfectly balanced by a potent bouquet of ylang-ylang, muget and rose.
